You work within your areas of expertise – occupational safety, ergonomics, psychosocial aspects, or hygiene and toxicology – to run risk analyses, develop your prevention plans, and teach training courses in collaboration with your client. For this, you will work within a multidisciplinary team and at your client’s premises.
Prevention adviser for psychosocial aspects at Mensura: something for you?
Here’s what your job looks like
- You support your clients in their psychosocial policy plans and related areas (e.g. undesirable behaviour, aggression, absenteeism) and run risk analyses.
- You conduct (in)formal interviews in the context of legislation.
- You will provide training and webinars at clients’ premises and for colleagues.
- You provide support after traumatic events.
- You offer employees individual counselling on psychosocial issues (e.g. alcohol or drug addiction, stress, aggression, conflicts).
Get your degree at Mensura
- If you have a master’s degree in business psychology, clinical psychology, sociology, or pedagogy, you can continue your education at Mensura to become a psychosocial prevention adviser.
- You complete the multidisciplinary basic training for prevention advisers (six months), then the psychosocial specialisation (one year).
- The training programme takes place at a rate of one day a week.
- Mensura funds the training programme.

Your duties are
- You run risk analyses, develop prevention measures, investigate serious accidents, and raise awareness in the field of prevention. You will do this with clients in various sectors and within a multidisciplinary team.
- You will support the internal prevention services and attend meetings of the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work.
- You provide training on various aspects of safety.

Mensura trains you
- If you have a master’s degree in industrial sciences with the additional level 2 prevention adviser degree, you can obtain the level 1 degree at Mensura.
- The training programme takes two years to complete, at a rate of one day a week during working hours.
- Mensura funds the training programme.
