Who am I?
I’m a prevention adviser on psychosocial aspects (paps). I am also qualified in psychosocial (non-)wellbeing, having gained experience in this area in preventative, social and primary care, as well as in scientific research.
My main tips: always check the facts; because some aspect of the matter may not add up. Enter into dialogue. Everyone is different, which means they have different needs and expectations. Ask them: ‘How are things with you? How are you feeling? What do you need? What makes you happy? What’s your view of things?’
I like to unwind in natural surroundings: and when I do, I enjoy hiking, cycling or diving. Every now and then I go travelling in search of adventure. What do I like to do? I am into astrology and Tai Chi. What else do I want to do? Sailing.
Those who dare to get lost will find new ways. There are plenty of opportunities around you for finding happiness."
Expertise
I am well versed in interviewing and mediation, team analysis and team coaching.
I also handle absence from work due to illness and provide individual and group support on resilience and stress issues.
Finally, I assist people and organisations in creating their policy on psychosocial risks and dealing with unforeseen and shocking events.
