Who am I?
Everything is interconnected and ergonomics goes hand in hand with many other areas. This is my starting point when I am asked by companies to improve aspects of their ergonomics. Looking at the big picture first is always useful for gaining a better understanding of potential pinch-points and then addressing them.
As a specialist in prevention, I enjoy being on the move. I run, I ride off on my mountainbike and I play badminton. In fact, I have been the president of the Opbad BC badminton club in Opglabbeek since 2019.

Expertise
I like to draw on the experience I have gained in the care sector, where I have had a great deal of contact with people with disabilities and with those going through rehab after an accident or illness. Before starting my bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, I worked for ten months as an order picker and forklift driver at Scania Parts Logistics. It was the ideal environment for realising the importance of paying attention to ergonomics in order to keep employees at work sustainably and, in doing so, to promote long-term efficiency.
