Don’t let the flu get to you: protect your employees

Each winter, the flu virus re-emerges and spreads. This viral infection causes annual worker absenteeism to peak. But just one shot can protect your employees from the flu.

Why vaccinate?

Every year, 5 to 15% of employees in Belgium have to deal with the flu for an average of 3 to 6 days a week.
A vaccine reduces the risk of flu by 80%.
Those who still get the flu after receiving the vaccination will recover more quickly and have a reduced risk of complications.

1. Practical details

Orders for flu vaccines can be placed starting from the 24th of June until the 20th of September 2024 (or until supplies run out). Eligible clients can use their prevention units towards the purchase of flu vaccines.

The flu vaccination period is from the 14th of October until the 13th of December 2024. Each flu vaccine costs € 27,75 (including administration of the vaccine and the vaccination itself).

To ensure a smooth vaccination process, we ask that you complete a new order form for each location. After the order has been processed, we will contact you to arrange a suitable date and time for the administration of the vaccine.

Note!
To facilitate vaccine registration, we are requesting the list of names of employees to be vaccinated prior to vaccinations.

You can easily place your order for flu vaccines through our client zone MyMensura. (only available in Dutch or French)

If you are using MyMensura for the first time, then you can request your account on the login screen.

How to place an order through MyMensura?

Input of data

In case you're responsible for more than one organisation:
- Search for your organisation by entering its name or affiliation number.
- Select the company and click next.
- If you have several seats: select all seats or the seat for which you wish to place the order.
- To place an order, click on the flu banner at the top of the home page or go to ‘Interventions’ and click on ‘Manage flu vaccines’.
- The order form will now appear automatically.

3. Billing

We bill based on the number of vaccines you order. Number of flu vaccines ordered = number of vaccines invoiced.

Are not all your employees present at the time of vaccination? Unfortunately, we are not allowed to leave vaccines at your premises. Absent workers can get a new appointment at one of the Mensura locations.
