Mensura obtains the Pioneering Employer certificate again

18-11-24

Mensura may again call itself Pioneering Employer in 2025. We’re certainly proud of this certificate too. This year, there is a special focus on inclusion and diversity.

Mensura’s mission is to ensure a positive and measurable impact on the well-being of people and organisations. Therefore, we aim to contribute to a society where your opportunities are not negatively impacted by your gender, origin, or beliefs.

To make that happen, Mensura is consciously committed to diversity and gender equality. In doing so, our HR policy adheres to the principle that, as an employee, you should be given the opportunity to use your potential to the full, in your own way. The right mindset is therefore a decisive factor in recruitment or internal career paths.

Diversity as added value

Mensura focuses on what employees can do and how they use their competences and experience for clients or within internal teams. Who you are in terms of gender, age, and origin is irrelevant. This is reflected in our recruitment policy: we recruit from school-leavers to those in their 60s or older, and all age levels in between. In each case, we provide guidance adapted to the needs of the new colleague in question.

Our organisation employs a healthy ethnic mix. We support foreign doctors who want to work at Mensura with administration and offer them language courses.

The 2025 training plan provides for ‘Cultural sensitivity’ sessions. In doing so, employees increase their awareness around cultural idiosyncrasies, differences, and sensitivities among colleagues and clients.

No barriers

The well-being and prevention sector employs many women. Mensura is no exception: 67% of our employees are women. Women are given every opportunity to grow in our company: Gretel Schrijvers, the current CEO who started as an occupational physician, is the best example of this.

For Mensura, it is self-evident that employees with children or with a desire to have children should not experience professional barriers. Pregnancy or caring for children (by mums as well as dads) will never ruin someone’s chances or put anyone at a disadvantage. Employees with children have the option of taking half a day of unpaid leave each week to raise children up to the age of 18.
