We learn every day, both on and off the job. And the way we learn is constantly evolving. In order to better meet the current needs and wishes of course participants, we are launching a new learning network: Mensura Learn&Connect.


“With Mensura Learn&Connect, we are radically revamping our range of training courses in such a way that everyone can find a training course that suits them. That way, every training course makes an impact,” says Julie Pottier, Head of Training. Soon, training courses at Mensura will no longer start and end with classroom sessions. “After all, with Mensura Learn&Connect, we offer participants a comprehensive mix of learning methods. For example, we are making more use of e-learning and virtual reality (VR) is being introduced for some courses. This way, the knowledge gained is better retained, which increases the impact of our training courses.”

Before the training course, participants receive concrete information that they can process in their own way and at their own pace. This creates more space during the lessons to go deeper into important issues and questions. At the same time, participants can immediately put the knowledge they have gained into practice, and we provide sessions in which the group can exchange experiences.

“The classroom-based training remains, but we expand it with an individual, interactive, and practical part. When it comes to theoretical transfer, many people quickly think, “I already knew that”. But when we have to apply the theory to a real-life scenario, we often realise that we are not reacting in the right way after all. That is why a practical component is so crucial,” explains Julie.
