Stéphanie Schraepen

After graduating as a bioengineer in environmental technology, I spent another six months abroad studying to improve my language skills. I then began working for Mensura as an external environmental coordinator. As part of my job, I come into contact with a wide range of companies and business sectors across the whole of Belgium.

Each of these companies has specific environment-related needs, questions and projects. This has enabled me to build up a broad array of knowledge of practical applications, as well as the regulations in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. I take the same basic approach to all my projects: the environment goes hand in hand with wellbeing both inside and outside the company.

I like to spend my spare time travelling, reading and learning new things. Plus, of course I also enjoy the company of my family and friends.

As an external environmental coordinator, I am at home with companies in a range of different sectors: heavy industry, food, care, waste, automotive, etc. You can also bring me in for issues relating to environmental permit applications, accreditation applications and environmental administration. I also present the environmental segment of the basic prevention adviser course.
