Who am I?
I call myself a passionate ergonomist. I am constantly immersing myself in new and existing topics, such as working with display screens and lifting loads. That’s the way I keep my ergonomic analyses, recommendations and training up to date.
I spend my spare time – always with an eye for ergonomics – walking, enjoying winter sports and travelling.
Prevention is better than cure"
Expertise
Through my specialisation in physiotherapy/manual therapy, I have gained a broad insight into back-related disorders and complaints – one of the biggest reasons for absenteeism from work.
How do you deal with these problems in a range of different discipline and job situations? Because the working environment in industry, logistics or the care sector is always different. I take a flexible approach to your questions by developing tailor-made ergonomic answers and giving each client specific advice.
Experience
I have worked as a manual therapist/physiotherapist, including a number of years specifically with back patients in a range of work settings (self-employed, residential care centre, etc.).
I have been sharing my knowledge about ergonomics as a prevention specialist at Mensura since 2019.
I focus on:
- Ergonomic recommendation projects in various sectors
- Ergonomic analyses of workstations
- Individual coaching and advice
- Advice, coaching and training about healthy and productive working from home (programmes for employers and employees)
