Who am I?
I made the move into the world of safety after spending ten years or so as an operations manager. I am very interested in the policy-related aspects of prevention, behavioural and communication skills, investigations into serious accidents at work and the coaching of prevention advisers.
I enjoy managing people. A prevention adviser needs to inspire and motivate. He or she is a team player and an important link in the chain of wellbeing policy.
I like to spend my spare time involved in football and tennis (both playing and refereeing/umpiring), snooker, strip cartoons and collecting stamps.
Don’t put off to tomorrow what you can do today"
Expertise
I work for Mensura as an external work safety prevention adviser, mainly for large clients in sectors such as construction, public authorities, logistics, services vouchers, playgrounds, etc.
As a result of my experience, I have gained far-reaching knowledge of prevention policy, which enables me to coach, guide or deputise for internal prevention advisers. I can switch just as flexibly to customer and business-oriented thinking and acting.
