Who am I?

You’ll need oxygen yourself before you can care for others. I get that oxygen from going on spontaneous trips and enjoying concerts, as well as doing lots of walking and cycling.
It clears my head so that I can provide enthusiastic advice on wellbeing policies, present courses about psychosocial topics, conduct risk analyses about psychosocial aspects and conduct individual discussions.

Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get" Forrest Gump

Expertise

I have gained experience in policy-related support with a range of different international companies. But I also like to give training on psychosocial welfare themes: resilience, teleworking, remote leadership, intervision, assertive communication, respect in the workplace, confidential counsellors, and so on.

Experience

After my experience in the HR environment of Philips and Deloitte, I joined Mensura in 2018, where I now work as an external prevention adviser, psychosocial aspects.

At Mensura, I am able to combine my advisory role with my interest in wellbeing in the workplace. I support companies with their psychosocial policy, working on developing and strengthening the qualities and strengths of employers and employees alike.

I believe it is important to establish good contacts within companies so that you can develop a really sound prevention policy. A policy that is both creative and firmly geared to the corporate culture. One of my tasks involves doing that as a coordinator with clients. I also enjoy having interim consultations and adjusting the content where required.

Degrees

I gained my Master’s in work and organisational psychology at KULeuven. I then went off with an Erasmus scholarship to Aarhus Universitet in Denmark to expand my knowledge of ‘work and organisational psychology’.

Closer to home, I have also completed the multidisciplinary basic module for prevention adviser and the specialist subject of prevention adviser, psychosocial aspects.

I am accredited as a coach in in the treatment of stress and burnout (VESB).

Courses

‘Increasing resilience’, ‘Working respectfully with others’ and ‘Teleworking’: we can all keep learning new things about it. From each other, for example. Including during my courses at Mensura Learn&Connect. Interactive, dynamic and … full of oxygen.
